Young Artists Program

The Festival nurtures and supports the musicians of tomorrow, today. Our Young Artist Program takes learning out of the rehearsal room and onto the stage, providing young musicians with the ‘next step’ in their professional performing careers.

Each year, we bring the best young musicians from around Australia to perform at the Festival. For 10 days, instrumental and vocal artists participate in Master classes, and collaborate with and perform alongside international artists from a diverse range of backgrounds. Sometimes the learning is structured and at other times informal, whether it’s providing industry insights on the journey between rehearsal venues or the casual advice shared in the Green Room. Our Young Artist Program creates connections between emerging musicians and industry professionals, providing a space where knowledge can be shared.

The Program brings the best and the brightest emerging musicians from a new generation of artists to the Festival. These young musicians provide a fresh perspective, showcasing their talents and interacting with a discerning Festival audience.
