The Canberra International Music Festival is one of Australia’s premiere music events, renowned for excellence, adventurousness and outstanding quality. The ten-day Festival takes place in May of each year and is presented by Pro Musica, a not-for-profit organisation. At the helm of the Festival is our Artistic Director Roland Peelman, an acclaimed musician of great versatility who has established a reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative musical directors.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our small, dynamic team who are passionate about our Festival.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for delivering the Festival 2019 Marketing Plan and will work closely with the Artistic Director, the General Manager and a small team of marketing volunteers and interns toward the delivery of key business outcomes. This is a coordinator position however there is the opportunity to develop the role into a management position should the appointed candidate have the relevant experience.

Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated track record in implementing and/or devising marketing plans, the ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple deadlines and budgets, and experience in advertising and digital media.

This is a part-time position based in Canberra commencing September 2018.
