The Canberra International Music Festival (CIMF) is held over 10 days in May each year and is a significant event on the ACT cultural calendar. CIMF has achieved a national reputation for presenting an art music program which is both highly innovative and of exceptional quality. At the helm of the Festival is our Artistic Director Roland Peelman, an acclaimed musician of great versatility who has established a reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative musical directors.

We have a small, dynamic team who are passionate about our Festival.  We are looking for a General Manager to join the team to manage the day to day operations of our office and the management/administrative functions associated with presenting the Festival each year.  As General Manager you will be responsible for managing and working with the team and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You should have the ability to articulate and communicate our vision and set priorities. 

The General Manager reports directly to the Board and works closely with our Artistic Director.

This is a permanent part-time position based in Canberra commencing in August 2018.
