A bequest is a wonderful way of sharing your love of music and ensuring that others can enjoy the Canberra International Music Festival into the future. Your gift will make a significant contribution to the Festival and help us to continue providing audiences with exceptional musical experiences.
Leaving a gift the Festival in your will is called a bequest and it can take many different forms including:
- A specific amount of money
- A specific portion of your estate
- Assets such as property, shares or works of art
- The residual assets of an estate – what is left after other gifts and estate costs have been met.

The purpose of your bequest
Our team can work closely with you to help you decide what activity or project you could support as part of your bequest. You might want to create a prize for artists, create a new program or commission new works - there is space for you to be creative in your support. We recommend that a non-specific bequest be made to the Fund, providing the Festival with the flexibility to respond to priorities that may night have been identified at the time the bequest instructions were written.

As circumstances vary between individuals it is important that you consult with your professional advisors for advice on wording of the bequest.
How will my gift be managed?
Your gift will be managed by the Pro Musica Board and used according to your wishes.
