CIMF 25th Birthday SPECIAL Appeal

The Art of Giving. Lights go on, artists appear on stage, they give something of themselves. You, the audience, may remain in the dark, but it is your presence and generosity that allows us to switch on the lights and share the magic. That too is an art. The Art of Living.

25 years ago, members of the Canberra community who shared a love of music began presenting concerts in private homes and embassies. From these small beginnings, the Festival has grown into a ten day event with a national reputation for its commitment to excellence and innovation. This journey has been shared with our community of supporters who believe music enriches our lives.

We think 25 years is worth celebrating. If you simply wouldn’t miss the Festival each year, or this is your first time and you’ll be back, we would like to invite you to join with us to make 2019 our “Best Festival Ever”.

Our Artistic Director, Roland Peelman, has set his sights on bringing some outstanding international and Australian talent to make this a real birthday celebration. We are launching a special birthday appeal with the aim of raising an additional $25,000 for Roland to invest in our 2019 program.

We greatly value your support and welcome all donations, large and small. The special appeal closed on 30 June 2018. However, there are still many ways you can assist. Please click here for more information.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
