WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE CULTURAL DIVISION OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF CHILE, AND THE EMBASSY OF CHILE IN AUSTRALIA
Los Pitutos are a young group of musicians from Chile and Colombia who found new inspiration in the forgotten boleros of their home country. From their base in Berlin, they resurrected the traditional folk elements and ballroom music from the pre-revolutionary years and injected it with modern urban sophistication. Oozing with nostalgia and old-fashioned charm, their songs touch on new audience sensibilities. With Latin blood streaming through their veins, and armed with top notch classic credentials as well as the creamiest of voices, the music of Los Pitutos brings seduction, love or romance to the festival.
A selection of music devised by Los Pitutos based on the traditional latino genres of the 60s and 70s in Latin America. A retro-style mixed with more urban contemporary sounds.
