Bach in Africa

  • Fitters' Workshop 11 Wentworth Avenue Kingston, ACT, 2604 Australia (map)

Concert 19

Bach is thus a terminal point. Nothing comes from him; everything merely leads to him.

Lansana Camara

Lansana Camara

Albert Schweitzer made some of his most memorable observations about Bach in the middle of the Africa, once he established his hospital in French Congo. This concert spins a gentle dialogue between Moya Henderson’s jaunty hoodwinks to Africa and Lansana Camara’s direct musical line from Guinea, West Africa.
