Founded in 2007 by the Kowalik brothers Daniel and Karol, the Orava Quartet have pursued a singular path over the last ten years and are now hailed as “the real deal” for the future of Australian chamber music. On the heels of their first CD release in early 2018, these four delightful young men play a centenary tribute to Debussy, preceded by the romance of Rachmaninov’s unfinished string quartet and the spirited repartee of Haydn’s “Joke” Quartet.
