Travel back in time to World War I battlefields with a concert by internationally acclaimed French pianist, Maxime Zecchini.
Maxime travels the world to play the Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, a major piece written by composer Maurice Ravel between 1929 and 1930 for Paul Wittgenstein, an Austrian concert pianist, who lost his right arm in combat on the Russian front during the war. Maxime will present an extract from the Ravel Concerto, Scriabin's Prelude and Nocturne for the Left Hand, along with arrangements of works by Verdi, Bellini, Massanet and Schulhoff.
