Mozart’s output from the late 1780s forms the apogee of classicism in music, realized by a composer who had thrown off the shackles of ancient patronage. On account of its enigmatic opening, his String Quartet No. 19 is perhaps the most famous of all. For the sublime clarinet quintet, award-winning Paris-based Van Kuijk Quartet joins forces with the Israeli clarinetist Orit Orbach.
